Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $145,000.00 USD Annually
Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for a permanent/direct hire hybrid position in Worcester, MA.

Duties:

• Manage MDR vendor relationship, overseeing Tier-1 and Tier-2 SOC services.
• Lead internal Tier-3 SOC, handling escalated events and resolutions.
• Act as an event monitoring and response expert.
• Coordinate and lead security incident management.
• Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive actions.
• Develop and execute threat hunting strategy.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and security risks.
• Use threat intelligence to enhance resilience.
• Collaborate on security solutions and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in IT for a global organization.
• 3+ years in full-time cybersecurity.
• SIEM and Splunk proficiency.
• Strong CIS Critical Security Controls knowledge.
• Documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT expertise in security areas.
• AWS security and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Hands-on security tools experience.
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework understanding.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
• Experience in diverse enterprise networks.
• Relevant certifications preferred.
