Job Description:

Our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit is a leader in delivering engineering and technology solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients.

The FAA has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform U.S. air traffic control by 2028. Success requires FAA integration expertise, program delivery management, technical leadership, and accountability for delivery. Our vision is to replace the FAA's legacy systems with a unified, integrated environment that supports advanced air mobility, unmanned aircraft, and next-generation technologies.

Parsons is looking for a talented Finance Lead to join our team! In this role, you will provide high-quality financial management information and advice to senior management regarding strategy, planning, analysis, and reporting.

Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with approximately 75% travel to the NCR.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Review key business objectives and develop financial strategies to support their delivery.
2. Deliver financial analysis and solutions aligned with business strategies.
3. Develop and implement effective financial procedures, initiating changes to meet targets.
4. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
5. Produce monthly financial statements to aid decision-making.
6. Contribute to corporate reporting on financial performance.
7. Ensure contractor invoices are compliant and paid on time.
8. Investigate budget variances and recommend remedial actions.
9. Maintain financial reports and records according to policies.
10. Oversee resources, projects, and finances.

Required Skills:

1. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management, or Accounting; Masters preferred.
2. Chartered Accountant Certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
3. At least 10 years of financial management, analysis, and budgeting experience.
4. Experience with government programs and financial integration preferred.
5. Strong background in financial management, including P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow.
6. US Person.

Desired Skills:

1. Leadership, negotiation, and time management skills.
2. High proficiency in English.
3. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
