Job Summary

If you are professional with some experience in solar installation experience, construction, warehouse operations, or similar, you are an ideal candidate for our Solar Installer position. As a Geoscape Solar Installer, you will install DC-side of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems with a team of installers to construct residential and commercial solar projects.

Under the direction of the foreman, crew lead, and/or Director of Operations, a typical day may include but isn't limited to :

• Mechanical and structural mounting of solar racking
• Seal all roof penetrations properly
• Safely secure solar panels to racking
• Run conduit and cables from solar panels to combiner boxes
• Assists with the installation of the system mounts, rails, wiring, grounding/bonding, and modules
• Trenching, concrete work and equipment assembly
• Report any project or customer issues to crew foreman
• Operation and maintenance of company vehicles, as needed
• Load and unload vehicles as needed
• Help maintain tools and vehicles in excellent condition

Required Experience/Qualifications

• A minimum 1 year of experience in electrical conduit, wiring, upgrades, meter relocations, etc....
• Experience with the safe use of hand-held and power tools
• Experience complying with OSHA safety requirements and regulations
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, including drug screen and driving record
• Must live local to Las Vegas or Henderson

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Experience with the safe use of hand-held and power tools
• Solar experience strongly preferred
• More than 1 year of experience in solar installation, general construction or carpentry

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

License

• Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record

Certifications

• OSHA 10, preferred
