Team Overview:

The Reader Software Test and Quality team (StaQ) ensures that Impinj reader products comply with RAIN RFID and Impinj feature specifications. We collaborate closely with Systems Engineering, Product Management, and software/firmware development teams to advocate for our customers and ensure the best user experience.

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests in Python
• Manage Continuous Integration (CI) systems; configure workflows for efficient testing
• Create and maintain testing infrastructure and tooling
• Track, triage, and report CI failures
• Utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence for tracking stories and documenting processes

What You Will Bring:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in writing automation scripts and building test frameworks
• Proficiency working in Linux environments
• Strong skills in Python; familiarity with C/C++
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

The listed benefits may vary based on employment type and location. The typical base pay range in the US is $106,000 - $163,000 . Actual salary depends on role complexity, responsibilities, experience, and skills. We also offer additional rewards such as merit increases, annual bonuses, stock options, and sales incentives where applicable. US employees have access to healthcare, a 401(k) plan with company match, and other benefits.
