1 st Shift -Screen Print Operator -$13hr-$19 and Up

******Pay Based On Experience******

Greenville, SC

Mon- Thur 7A-4:30P, Fri 7A-11A

Overview: The Screen Printer is responsible for the operation of an automatic carousel screen print machine. Top pay scale will have extensive knowledge of the industry and be able to troubleshoot the proper adjustments needed to ensure the efficient production of a quality product. Candidate will general experience in Screen Printing and knowledge will be around mid Pay Scale and Candidate with No experience in Screen Printing but with experience in operating a machine in a manufacturing environment will be at the lower end.(All levels will be trained and have potential to expand pay level based on performance, attendance, attitude, willingness to learn and grow.

This is a Temp-To-Hire position

Minimum Experience: 1 year Machine Operator Experience.

Responsibilities:

• Before beginning any job, you review the designs/work orders and inspect the equipment to ensure it is in working order.
• Machine setup and breakdown.
• Quality Control Inspections
• Ensure accurate color matching and registration of prints.
• Ink Mixing - Ability to match and identify colors.
• Screen Burning, Prep, and Stretching
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Strong understanding of screen-printing techniques and processes
• Knowledge of production design principles and color theory
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
• Scheduling repairs for the Screen Print Machine and its fittings, as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 30lbs
• Bend, reach, twist, on a repetitive basis.
• Must be able to stand for extended period.
• Must be able to work in the heat.
