We are in search of a qualified Regional Nurse Consultant:
The Regional Nurse Consultant will be responsible for the dissemination of expert advice and oversight to facility management personnel and line staff to ensure that systems are maintained to effectively and efficiently operate the facility in a manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. General Responsibilities
To consult the assigned facilities on nursing functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long-term care facilities to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times.

Requirements
Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing
Previous experience in a supervisory capacity in a long-term care facility
Has working knowledge of Federal and State regulations for long term care
Demonstrates leadership and supervisory skills
Demonstrates professional appearance and behavior
Ability to make independent decisions.
Ability to travel extensively as necessary
Has the skills to operate a computer and basic software pertinent to the position
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
Must be capable of performing the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL JOB FUNCTIONS
