\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Self-scheduling used but not always guaranteed
\n• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
\n• 20-bed ICU unit
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
\n• Previous travel experience preferred
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Use Cerner electronic medical record system
\n• Work with Phillips telemetry/monitoring equipment
\n• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
\n• Handle various drips including Norepinephrine, Precedex, Epinephrine, Vasopressin
\n• Work with Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators
\n• May be required to float to AG to work ICU
\n• One shift floor-specific orientation provided
\n• Care for patients with neuro trauma, cardiac surgical cases, open heart procedures, post catheterization, aortic dissection, fem pops, thoracotomies, and CRRT
\n• Intensivist available 24/7 on-site
\n• Respiratory therapy and pharmacy services available 24/7
\n• Charge nurses do not take patient assignments

\nThis regional medical center operates a 20-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services for complex medical and surgical patients. The facility maintains Level 3 trauma designation and offers comprehensive acute care services. The ICU is equipped with advanced monitoring technology and ventilator support, with 24/7 intensivist coverage, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
