Job Description

A noteworthy Foundation (working with Scholars) is looking for a COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST DIRECTOR with Marketing in HIGHER EDUCATION (Universities) a must.

Working with overseas educational institutions. (They are not trying to raise funds from external donors)

This individual will manage the partnership with US UNIVERSITIES and communicate with the overseas Academy of the Scholarship.

Location in Katy and on site.

Duties:

  • Marketing/Communications Specialist/Manager
  • Work with Senior leadership to set strategic direction for the foundation.
  • Adept at building relationships and influencing outcomes
  • Manage communication with external resources
  • Be a key voice in consistent brand for the foundation
  • Manage relationships with Grantees and key stakeholders
  • Create and initiate new marketing initiatives to reach existing and prospective Grantees
  • Work with management in budgeting for marketing initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects

Required:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Project Management skills
  • Experience in Non-Profit, Education, Investor Relations preferred but not required

$90,000 to 145,000 depending on the experience and tenure! (including medical benefits)
