First Connect Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Director for a local contract nursing job in Marion, North Carolina.

Director of Emergency Services

Mission Hospital McDowell

Full Time – Days – No Weekends

Salary Range: $78,894 - $140,000

Relocation: Case by Case 

Incentive Bonus of Up To 17.5% 

Job Summary and Qualifications

​​The Director ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.​​​ 

 

What qualifications you will need:

· ​​ Required Education: Bachelor's Degree​ or other approved education plan

· ​​Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing​, Master's Degree​

· ​​Required Experience: 1+ years applicable experience ​

· ​​Preferred Experience: 3+ years applicable experience​

· Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.

Will accept very recent ED Manager experience

Needs to have accomplishments/metrics listed on resume

Additional Information:

 

65 Bed Community Hospital

15 Bed ER

Volume: 26K A Year

Not a trauma center but it does see high acuity

FTEs: 50

Reporting Structure:

CNO > Director > CNCs (no managers) – CNCs are high performing

They currently have a request for an ER expansion

Reason for opening: former Director had to relocate to FL for family matters. He took another role with HCA. 

 

Will accept very recent ED Manager experience
