Library Assistant/Shelver – Part-Time -- Library of the Chathams Position Available: Library Assistant/Page – Part-Time Hours: Regular hours Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 6 pm plus weekends and other hours as mutually agreed. Shelving (paging) and shelf-reading duties as required. Expectation that 90% time will be shelving. Collects contents of book drops and locks same when indicated. Assists in Children's Department duties as needed, including charging and discharging library material to users, answers and routes telephone calls. As needed, checks on building conditions including stacks, rest rooms and meeting rooms.
