IT Manager

As an IT Manager at Beyond Identity, you will have a two-fold strategic mandate: to manage the internal IT needs of a global, remote company and to serve as a key strategic partner to the product team. This role is a testament to the company's core "dogfooding" culture, which uses internal operations as a living laboratory for product improvement and validation. We are looking for an IT Manager who can manage a global, distributed workforce and serve as a critical user of the company's product, turning daily operational experience into a strategic asset.

What You Can Expect to Do:

• Work with senior leadership team to prioritize, scope and plan business milestones.
• Build technical rollout plans to reach business milestones.
• Foster a positive culture in line with Beyond Identity values.
• Actively coach and mentor team members in their careers.
• Be a reliable decision maker.
• Oversee the entire internal IT stack for a global, remote workforce.
• Manage cloud services, identity solutions, and endpoint protection.
• Manage hardware and software for employees on a range of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Lead the internal deployment of Beyond Identity's own software on employee devices in a "dogfooding" capacity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT escalations and vendor management.
• Articulate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide regular updates to leadership.

What We Hope You'll Bring:

• Proven experience as a remote IT Manager for a global, distributed company.
• A track record of managing and supporting a remote workforce.
• Deep expertise in a variety of internal IT infrastructure tools and systems, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Crowdstrike.
• Experience with a range of operating systems, including Linux, Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Demonstrated ability to manage internal deployments of security software and to collect and synthesize structured feedback from internal users.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to solving complex problems, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• The capacity to thrive in an ambiguous or complex problem space with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
• A proven ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Beyond Identity, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For Applicants in New York, NY, the salary range is $120K - $140K per year + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states.
