Job Description
The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, managing and maintaining Alivia Health’s data architecture to ensure high data quality, security, and accessibility. This role involves creating the blueprint for how data is collected, stored, processed, and utilized across various healthcare systems. The Data Architect will work closely with IT, data engineers, analysts, and professionals to ensure that data solutions align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture & Management, design and maintain end-to-end data architecture, including integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
- Framework & Governance, establish data management standards, including modeling, metadata, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Data Flow & System Integrity, document data flows, support and maintain systems to ensure performance and data integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration, partner with business units, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
- Data Strategy Support, contribute to data strategy efforts, including scalability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives.
Required education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related field. (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.)
- 5+ years’ experience as a Database Administration, data manager or equivalent.
