The Role:

The Milk Makeup Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for all operational marketing tasks

related to International. Provides direct support to Director of International Accounts in

strategizing, planning and driving the execution of retailer/ trade marketing and promotional

programs, in collaboration with global internal cross-functional teams, the International

commercial teams and retail partners. Ability to understand, maintain and communicate

timelines, work collaboratively and cross-functionally, and ability to be agile and resilient in a

fast pace environment is key.

This position will have a strong understanding between sales/marketing/retail programming &

planning activity for all retailers.

What YOU’ll do:

  • In this role you will be the main liaison and point of contact between International and Global Marketing. Implementing global strategies in international regions while driving the successful execution of in-store, online (including the social and paid media aspects of dotcom) and all omnichannel activity for all International retailers
  • Maintain a forward 2-year marketing calendar with dollarized programs to anniversary programs and drive incremental sales
  • Use data analytics to drive business decisions. Analyze new launch and marketing program performance to deliver both quantitative and qualitative feedback to measure ROI for future projects
  • Develops and coordinates marketing launch tools timelines for key initiatives so that delivery is monitored and is timely. Ensure needs are clearly communicated and performance of delivery is tracked (POS guidelines, adv copy, samples, merchandising guidelines, model shots, pack shots). Develops trade sell animation and presentation tools for all initiatives launch post evaluation on all major launches.
  • Pricing: issue price recommendations for all product initiatives for key markets; conduct pricing analysis by region.
  • Oversee forecasts per market on key initiatives and check evolution vs benchmark and target
  • Support the development of all sales plans, by store, by month.
  • Analyze sales, product, and mix trend to determine action.
  • Working closely with global VM team in managing merchandising updates for all international retailers/ regions ensuring on-time execution. Compile and maintain all product assortments by retailer/ region
  • Manage all logistics and execution of marketing plans and sampling strategy, including all merchandising strategy, promotional activities, and product launches Internationally
  • Creating marketing decks for market weeks
  • Responsible for delivery of samples by working cross functionally with demand planning/planning team to ensure timeliness of shipments
  • Allocate trade budgets by Channel and retailer: returns, mark downs, trade spend
  • Ad Hoc reporting for Marketing/Demand Planning/Finance/Sales Ops/Sales Teams for gross shipment insights
  • Collect and analyze campaign KPIs to measure effectiveness and ROI. Compiling and analyzing data from local country retail leads/ internal sales analytics to coordinate and share cohesive reports to upper management
  • Track fluid on-the-go budget spend framework informed by real time campaign performance analysis that minimizes ineffective spend and maximizes ROI.

We’d like YOU to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of retail marketing experience in cosmetics industry
  • Must have experience in EU/UK/ ME/ ANZ markets in particular; Worked with Sephora EU minimum 3 years
  • Experience in retailer specific portals (ie Gaia portal)
  • Proficient at sales analysis, business planning and execution
  • Must possess creative and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure effectively & efficiently
  • Organized and detail oriented in both managing tasks and budget tracking
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced demanding work environment, committed, tenacious and goal-oriented
  • Highly analytical
