Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Schedule: Hybrid (23 days onsite)

Overview

Seeking an experienced CFO to provide strategic financial leadership during a transition period. The ideal candidate will bring strong vision, cash management expertise, and the ability to partner with executive leadership and the Board. This role requires a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and managing professional service relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations, reporting, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership and Board committees.
• Manage banking, audit, and investment relationships.
• Supervise finance team and ensure continuous improvement of systems and processes.
• Support grant and restricted fund accounting.

Qualifications

• Extensive CFO-level experience in nonprofit organizations.
• Strong strategic planning, cash management, and Board presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct (preferred but not required).
• CPA or equivalent financial leadership background highly desirable.
