We areseeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our National Intelligence Program to be at the forefront of complex data-driven initiatives. SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting and intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking creative and dedicated professionals to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance. This position will be in Bethesda, MD.

Job Description:

• The candidate will leverage extensive experience to extract meaningful insights from large, structured, and unstructured data sets. In addition, the candidate will leverage their expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning and data visualization.
• The candidate will drive decision-making processes and strategic planning across various business units.
• The candidate will also work closely with customersto understand and participate in changing needs and offer recommendations for resolution based on quantitative analysis.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree inData Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow,PyTorch) and advanced statistics.
• Proven ability to work with large-scale data sets and familiarity with data querying tools.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Experience withAWS cloud computing platforms.
• Proficient in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership and stakeholders.

Clearance:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
