Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Mechanical Insulators for projects located in the Essex, CT area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $27-30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Mechanical Insulator eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Job Scope:

Commercial duct and pipe insulation work
Install fiberglass elastomeric or foam insulation on HVAC ductwork and piping
Cut and fit insulation materials to the required shapes and dimensions
Seal, tape and secure insulation using adhesive bands or metal jackets
Maintain job site cleanliness and follow safety protocols

Requirements

Must have reliable transportation
Ability to read and follow basic mechanical plans
Minimum of 3+ years of commercial mechanical insulation experience and have proficiency with fiberglass, elastomeric and aluminum jacketing
Must have basic tools and standard PPE
