Job Description

Our client , a leader in Financial and Tax Software, is looking for someone to join their team as a Data Engineer. This role is fully remote!

*This is a year long W2 contract*

In this role, you will have the chance to join a new organization within the company, which is responsible for driving the organization forward via innovation with all things data. You will partner with Data PMs to execute on data initiatives by deep diving into pipeline code and unpacking logic, creating POCs of new pipelines and driving API integrations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Partner with a Data PM to own and execute end-to-end data initiatives
• Dive deep into code and legacy logic to understand, evaluate, and refine data pipelines
• Formulate and execute plans to ensure that data accurately reflects the business problem being solved
• Develop and rapidly iterate on new applications of data, leveraging libraries, repositories, and other tools to accelerate progress
• Work across multiple programming languages, and quickly adapt to new ones as needed

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in complex data domains
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with ETL
• Experience with Python, Spark and familiarity with API integration
