PLR Talent Forward is pleased to partner with a well-established, community-focused Credit Union located in western North Carolina in seeking a dynamic CEO/Manager to lead and drive sustainable growth. Our partner credit union is looking for a strategic thinker who can identify growth opportunities while actively supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a motivated, community-oriented leader who will engage with and be a visible presence in the community they serve. This role requires a collaborative professional who can enhance member satisfaction, drive innovation, and promote the mission of the credit union. You will be successful if you are flexible and resourceful, and someone who thrives in a small team environment and embraces a variety of responsibilities with enthusiasm.

What youll do:

As CEO/Manager, youll play a pivotal role in both strategic vision and day-to-day operations, working under the supervision of our Board of Directors. This role is perfect for a leader who enjoys wearing multiple hats, can balance big-picture goals with hands-on responsibilities, and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.

• Leadership Experience Demonstrated credit union or banking management, with a strong lending background.
• Financial Acumen A solid foundation in finance or accounting.
• Technology & Cybersecurity Experience with new technology integration in financial services and proficiency in managing IT and cybersecurity programs.
• Regulatory Knowledge Deep understanding of regulatory requirements with a demonstrated aptitude for compliance.
• Team & Project Management Skilled at managing people, projects, and multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Marketing Savvy Experience in both traditional and social media marketing is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications A degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred, but not required).

Compensation:

Salary is competitive and based on experience and education.
