About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Risk and Compliance Officer to play a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company's policies and procedures are in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, with a focus on security and loss prevention. This includes advising senior leadership on necessary policy adjustments, leading the development of a comprehensive risk management process, and staying abreast of legal and regulatory requirements. The CRCO will also serve as the organization's Security Officer and must be a trusted advisor to the President/CEO and senior leadership, upholding the company's quality standards and commitment to exceptional service. Applicants for the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with industry-related certifications being a plus. A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in financial institutions, compliance, risk management, or regulatory activities is required, along with 7-10 years' of management experience. The role demands strong skills in analyzing and interpreting financial and legal documents, as well as the ability to respond to inquiries from leadership, regulatory agencies, and the business. Proficiency in report writing, and effective presentation skills are also essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in risk and compliance management within the financial services sector.
