2nd Shift Warehouse Manager – Leadership Opportunity with Great Benefits!

Pay & Perks

• Competitive salary: $60,000 – $65,000 (based on experience and skills)

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to finish (weekends as needed)
• Flexibility required: Occasional 1st shift coverage and potential travel

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team handling shipping, inventory, and warehouse operations
• Oversee daily picking operations for inbound containers, trailers, and warehouse storage
• Support shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate order flow
• Verify production code dates and product integrity before storage or shipment
• Manage driver check-ins, pricing/quoting loads, payments, and data entry into warehouse systems
• Train, certify, and oversee forklift drivers
• Maintain shipping records and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor and improve productivity while keeping safety a top priority
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline operations and cut costs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience (inbound receiving experience preferred)
• Experience supervising teams of 20+ in a distribution center environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse workflows, labor planning, and safety compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with WMS systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage both staff and customers
• Reliable and flexible, with availability for weekends as needed
• Strong problem-solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset
