Job Description

An elementary school in Grafton, MA, is seeking a dedicated professional to provide 1:1 support for a student with special education needs for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely within a supportive educational environment, helping to foster academic and social growth for a student requiring individualized attention.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one instructional support tailored to the students individualized education plan (IEP)
• Assist with classroom activities and facilitate access to the general curriculum
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Monitor and document the students behavioral and academic performance
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Experience working in special education settings, preferably in elementary schools
• Strong ability to provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, adaptability, and dedication to student success
• Relevant certifications or training in special education are preferred
