JOB DESCRIPTION

The WordPress Administrator supports the website development efforts of the Pipeline Digital Website and SEO Content Product. This self-starting individual is skilled in WordPress, taking development cases and owning resource management. This position is responsible for day-to-day execution of development needs that meet measurable goals and adheres to Abstrakt’s standards. This team member is also responsible for ensuring completion of all actions on-time and within standards and keeping Abstrakt websites above an 85% SEMrush Health Score.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for maintaining hosted websites including both internal and external sites
Monitoring website uptime, ensuring outages are identified and addressed within contracted SLAs
Troubleshoot internal and external website issues
Partner with third party development team to execute dev requests
Partners with project and account managers to lead the successful delivery and execution website projects
Responsible for website deployment and launch activities
Mentor peers on WordPress admin panel functions
Support project teams with WordPress maintenance and administrative requests including, but not limited to, user management, theme setup and configuration, etc.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies through continuous education
Resource manages development and digital strategy resources as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years WordPress Experience.
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WordPress developments and Google updates and trends.
Demonstrate emotional intelligence and exhibit professional demeanor and appearance.
Experience with web markup language, search engine optimization, and/or content strategy preferred.
Experience using Salesforce, SEMrush, WordPress, or GTmetrix preferred.
Experience with JavaScript, PHP, and CSS preferred.
