The Cargo Warehouse/Forklift Operator
I.K. Hofmann is looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for a Cargo Warehouse/Forklift Operator in Atlanta, GA for a Cargo facility.
We are looking for ambitious and detail-oriented individuals to perform faced paced warehouse cargo work, under supervision. They need to be flexible to work different shifts.
The Cargo Warehouse/Forklift Operator is responsible for: - Load and unload cargo on Trucks
- Performs duties on the runway/warehouse based on the needs of the client you are assigned
- Operate Forklift
- Tie Down Pallets
- Build Pallets
- Connect and operate ground support equipment
- Communicate effectively with all teammates and other runway personnel
Minimum Essential Functions: - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Frequently moves cargo in the warehouse weighing up to 50 pounds.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.
Work Environment: - Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures.
- Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.
- Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled
- Work near others. They often share the same workspace
- Often work indoors but may sometimes work outdoors.
Requirements: - Education: GED/High School desired Experience
Shift hours: Operation-Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm
