Job Description

SUMMARY

The Treasury and Cash Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day cash positioning and bank account management, proper application of cash receipts, cash forecasting, account reconciliations, and other accounting functions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Executes key treasury and accounting functions including, but not limited to, daily cash application, bank reconciliations, and other accounts receivable functions.
  • Monitors and records the company's daily cash activity, including receipts and disbursements to ensure that cash requirements are accurately and timely recorded, forecasted, and funded.
  • Maintains banking relationships, actively manages on-line banking portals and user profiles.
  • Works with finance and accounting leadership to continuously improve the cash management policies, practices, and control environment.
OTHER SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • Cashes applications for multiple business units.
  • Monitors cash transactions to ensure accuracy of cash reporting in general ledger.
  • Investigates and resolves unapplied cash, cash overages, and shortages.
  • Prepares daily and monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Provides reporting of cash positions for multiple business units.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Contact as needed with clients regarding general information, resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.
  • Contact with members of team and internal teams regarding follow-up on inquiries, open workflow, etc.
May perform other duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Undergraduates' degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE
  • General Ledger (GL) and journal entry procedures.
  • Microsoft Office Suite; Development and use of advanced formulas in Excel.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
