Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology assignment requiring at least 2 years of IR experience and a valid TN or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a Level I Trauma Center
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm with on-call requirements
• On-call generally includes one weekend per month
• Weekend shifts are required as needed
• Not open to block scheduling requests
• Possible float to similar units or campuses within 20 miles, though infrequent
• Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is preferred
• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures in an acute hospital setting
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if assignment includes these dates, or at least 1 of 2 if only two holidays fall within assignment
• Returning travelers and former employees must have a minimum one-year separation before being eligible for rehire
• Must include vaccination status
• No first-time travelers accepted unless over 3 years' recent experience

• Active RN license from Tennessee or compact state (no pending licensure)
• Minimum of 2 years recent Interventional Radiology RN experience required; 3 years is preferred
• At least one completed previous travel assignment required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
• No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• All time-off requests must be submitted prior to onboarding; will not be accepted after offer
