• The facility offers a wide range of specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, hospitalist services, intensivists, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and wound care.
• The hospital is certified as a Primary Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center, with Advanced Heart Failure Accreditation and Stroke Rural Recognition Silver Award.
• The position is for an ICU RN role at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC.
• The ICU unit has 8 beds with patient ratios of 1:2-3 and uses Cerner EHR.
• The role serves all ages and requires ICU experience with a focus on high acuity and respiratory failure treatment.

Job Requirements

• Must have RN licensure and education required to work as an RN in North Carolina.
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required.
• Required certifications prior to start include ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH.

Schedule Information

• Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Weekend hours as needed/every other weekend.
• Call requirements as needed.
• Float requirements: Yes, ratio 1:6.

• Unit: ICU/CCU (Department 16776).
• Number of beds: 8.
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3.
• EHR system: Cerner.
• Supervisor: Inpatient Nursing Manager.
• Patient population: Serves all ages.
• Must have ICU experience.
• Preferred skillset: High acuity.
• Common diagnosis/treatment: Respiratory Failure.
• Personality fit: Professional.

Additional Details

• Orientation is weekly on Mondays.
• Local rate is $48 (removed sensitive rate info).
• Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel.
• Unit profile includes ICU/CCU department with 1 opening.
• Dress code allows any scrub color; no casual wear.
