Job Description

What you will do:

Prepare and review Federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns and related extensions and estimates
Answer ad-hoc tax-related inquiries and handle federal, state and local tax notices
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal and state tax topics
Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations; performance in-depth tax search, deliver timely and high-quality services that exceed client expectations

What you need to bring:

BA/BS degree in Accounting, or Master's degree in Accounting/Taxation
Minimum 5+ years of experience in federal and state income tax prep
CCH Axcess tax experience
Excellent research, writing and communication skills
Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Demonstrates responsibility, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate effectively as a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong corporate tax compliance and tax provision experience
Public Accounting experience is a plus!
ProSystem fx Engagement experience is a plus
