Location: Tampa Bay Area
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Schedule: Part-time, 1015 hours per week (with option to pick up additional staff nurse shifts through 5 Star Cares)
About the Role
5 Star Cares is seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our growing team. This role involves providing safe, professional infusion therapy in home and clinical settings while delivering exceptional patient care.
In addition to infusion duties, nurses may also pick up additional staff nurse shifts through 5 Star Cares to supplement hours and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Administer IV infusions and monitor patients throughout treatment
Assess and document patient responses, vital signs, and infusion progress
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate updates with the care team
Follow all infection control, safety, and medication administration protocols
Provide patient education and support regarding ongoing therapies
Qualifications
Active Florida RN or LPN license (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Minimum 1 year of recent infusion or IV therapy experience (required)
Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for in-home visits
Experience with PICC lines, ports, and peripheral IVs strongly preferred
