\n \n\n \nThe role you'll contribute:
\n \n\n \nThe Surgical Technologist III is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse according to the accepted clinical standards of care.
\n \n\n \nThe value you'll bring to the team:
\n \n\n \n· Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedure .
\n \n· Scrubs, gowns, and gloves .
\n \n· Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedure' displays knowledge of procedure and patient positioning .
\n \n· Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed .
\n \n· Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants .
\n \n· Helps in draping sterile field .
\n \n· Passes instruments, etc., to surgeon during procedure .
\n \n· Maintains highest standard of sterile technique during procedure .
\n \n· Prepares sterile dressings .
\n \n· Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization .
\n \n· Assists other members of team with terminal cleaning of room.
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \n· High School Graduate/ GED.
\n \n· Successful Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program.
\n \n· CST with at least two years of experience.
\n \n· Current CST/ Certified Surgical Assistant.
\n \n· AMA BLS
