Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Staff Accountant will focus mainly on cash receipts and AP responsibilities
  • Recording cash receipts - 15-20 per day. Information is in various spreadsheets.
  • AP - Every Wednesday. Volume less than 30 invoices/week. Pay through ACH, wires, or pay through a manual check.
• Staff Accountant will also assist with completion of forms and paperwork for various vendors
• Staff Accountant will record journal entries
• Staff Accountant will assist with running fixed assets depreciations
• Staff Accountant will complete ad hoc tasks and projects as requested

Requirements:

• 3+ years accounting experience required for Staff Accountant
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills - should know sum, formulas. Experience with pivot tables is a plus
• Knowledge of Sage 100 preferred but open to someone with strong technology skills/experience using another accounting system
