Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A high school special education teaching opportunity is available for the contract school year (CSY) in Ringgold, GA. This role focuses on providing tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve academic and personal growth in a structured high school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the unique requirements of each student
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and independence

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with a specialization in special education
• Experience working with high school-aged students in a special education setting
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
