Job Title: School Paraprofessional
Job Type: W2 Contracted Position | Full School Year
Pay: $20$22 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Full-Time, 30 hours per week
About the Role:
We are seeking a committed School Paraprofessional to support students in the Palmdale, CA area for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, contracted position providing consistent support to both classroom teachers and students throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom and/or 1:1 settings.
Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
Support students with special education needs and help reinforce individualized education plans (IEPs).
Track and document student progress as directed by school staff.
Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or ParaPro exam preferred.
Previous experience working with children in an educational or support setting strongly preferred.
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
