Introduction:

We are a small locally owned Solar Design and Installation company. Our dynamic company needs an energetic, motivated Solar Installer eager to develop a career in the solar and battery installation field. Our Solar Installers play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of our solar systems, and providing top-tier service to our customers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the solar industry preferred
• Basic knowledge of PV products, the NEC and PV technology in general
• A minimum of 1 years direct installation and job site experience
• Currently possess or be on the path towards or be willing to pursue various certifications such as NABCEP, OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR/AED, etc.
• General construction knowledge or project management including roofing, electrical, carpentry, or general construction experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and systems
• Ability to read and interpret building and electrical plans
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Duties:

• Prepare for jobs by stocking trucks with necessary equipment
• Read and comprehend building plans for roof, ground mount and hybrid system installations
• Bend and lay conduit, work with electrical panels and install batteries and generators
• Assemble solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative mounting equipment, etc.
• Organize and maintain system components
• Clean up the job site, unload and restock job materials
• Maintain the highest level of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
• Communicate in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner
• General construction work such as use of hand, measuring, leveling, and power tools, etc.
• Maintaining documentation of completed installations
• Working outside in various weather conditions

Benefit Conditions: 60 day waiting period

Schedule: Monday to Thursday

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$25.00/hr DOE

Since our inception in 2006, all of our systems are designed by NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) Certified Solar Installers. We do installs for people connected to the grid and want to stay that way, like residential homes and businesses, as well as installs for individuals looking to go off-grid. Our custom designs are based on electricity needs and an individual site analysis. The idea behind our business is to offer an all-in-one service as we provide the consultation, site evaluations, design, permitting, installation, service, and upgrades. This makes it easy on the customer as everything you need is one phone call away.
