Our company

Scout AI ( is an early-stage tech startup company working at the intersection of hiring, upskilling, and productivity. Our mission is to maximize human potential by helping companies get more work done, and by helping engineers connect with meaningful job opportunities.

We are a small and mighty team led by Christian Arredondo ( and Daniel Hernandez ( based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Texas. We have several paying customers and recently raised our round of pre-seed funding from world class investors at Neo ( , where we are participated in their 2024 accelerator program.

About the role

We have several projects with partner startup companies that are focused on TypeScript (NodeJS, ReactJS) and applied AI (e.g. agents and chatbots).

Responsibilities

• Build early-stage, web-based products using a TypeScript tech stack.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Completed a technical program (CS, engineering, math, etc)
• 2-5 years of software engineering experience
• Excellent technical and programming skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Preferred: Experience building ML / AI apps
• You must have authorization to work in the country in which you intend to live (we cannot sponsor visas at this time)

Location and compensation

Location:

• Remote: Global (prefer US / LATAM)

Compensation:

• This position can be part-time or full-time and includes compensation ranging between $30-$60/hr depending on experience
