Situated in the heart of Hoboken, NJ, we are looking for a Social Media Content Creator Intern (paid internship) who embodies our brand's creative spirit and is ready to bring fresh, innovative ideas to our social media presence.

The Role

As a Social Media Content Creator Intern, your mission is to craft and curate captivating social media content that bolsters our brand's visibility and voice across various platforms. Under the guidance of our Marketing Project Manager and Director of Ad Strategy, you'll be instrumental in shaping our brand narrative, engaging with our community, and sparking conversations that resonate with our broad audience.

Overall Job Description

• Conceptualize, create, and produce compelling social content aligned with our brand, aimed at boosting brand awareness and solidifying our brand voice across all platforms.
• Coordinate content production across RSVLTS social media channels, under the guidance of our Marketing Project Manager and Director of Ad Strategy.
• Use approved assets and source user-generated content (UGC) to create a reserve of evergreen posts for continuous engagement.
• Collaborate with the paid social team on content strategy and best practices, and aid in identifying and partnering with social influencers.
• Foster a community management environment that mirrors our brand's voice, engaging actively with our audience.
• Innovate by suggesting and implementing new features and ideas to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
• Stay informed on industry trends, pop culture, and competitors to inform content strategy.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a stockpile of evergreen content for regular posting.
• Support the design and rollout of social media campaigns and monitor engagement to scale successful strategies.
• Undertake social media marketing research and contribute to influencer campaign strategies.
• Engage with our community through comments and direct messages, ensuring a consistent brand message.
• Brainstorm and research original content ideas, assist in creating and editing short-form videos, and contribute to photo and video shoots.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite for content creation and editing.
• Background or strong interest in Graphic Design or Advertising, with skills in short-form video editing.
• Resourcefulness in content creation and curation across major platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Organized, creative, and capable of grasping the brand voice, acting as a versatile contributor to our content and social media efforts.
• A knack for creativity and a flair for crafting engaging social media content, with a portfolio to showcase your work.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for content creation and editing.
• A background in Graphic Design or Advertising is preferred, along with short-form video editing skills.
• An intuitive understanding of social media trends and platform-specific best practices, especially for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine interest in pop culture, capable of weaving our current licenses into the brand narrative.
