Sit-Down Forklift Operator – Refrigerated Warehouse

An established refrigerated warehouse distribution center is seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down (electric) forklift to move pallets in trailers and warehouse areas
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections
• Verify and complete load documentation (paper or digital)
• Move pallets accurately and maintain clear records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Adapt to changing schedules, tasks, and operational needs

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of sit-down forklift experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to pass forklift certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods
• Regularly lift and move heavy materials (pallets, product)
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment
• Good manual dexterity and ability to hear instructions and equipment alarms

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with cold temperatures , dust, and moderate to high noise
• Steel-toed boots and PPE required
