Shipping & Receiving Assistant
Location: Conover, NC
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: 12-Hour Day Shift (6 AM – 6 PM | 2-2-3 Rotation)
Job Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
We’re looking for a motivated Shipping & Receiving Assistant to join our fast-paced warehouse team. If you’re experienced with forklifts, organized, and ready to learn, this could be your next great opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Unload deliveries and stock incoming materials
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Use RF scanner to manage inventory
Keep work areas clean and organized
Maintain accurate records of daily shipments
Interact professionally with drivers and vendors
Requirements:
Prior forklift experience (required)
Familiarity with RF scanners
Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Strong attention to detail and time management
Good communication skills
Must wear steel-toe shoes; safety glasses and earplugs required on the floor
