We seek entrepreneurial teammates who thrive on challenges. The Role We are seeking a talented Shopify developer with extensive experience in the Shopify ecosystem. Preference for candidates based in NYC, Toronto, or San Francisco, or remote within the North American EST time zone. Your role will involve crafting engaging, high-performance ecommerce experiences that delight customers and drive growth. This position uniquely combines product management and software development: approximately two-thirds of your time will focus on product strategy, roadmaps, and stakeholder collaboration, while one-third will be hands-on coding and technical implementation. The ideal candidate has a background in product, growth, or analytics at a high-growth ecommerce startup or agency, with strong technical skills to bring ideas to life, and experience working with designers and developers to launch impactful ecommerce experiences. You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, from architecture to documentation, and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our digital ecosystem. In Your First 90 Days Take ownership of the digital product roadmap and backlog Refine sprint planning for maximum impact Assess and prioritize site experience improvements Manage ongoing features and develop new ones Estimate development costs for prioritization Day-to-Day Responsibilities Manage ecommerce roadmap, prioritize features, and collaborate with stakeholders Assess technical requirements and feasibility Monitor key metrics like AOV, CVR, and RPV Gather user feedback and analyze data to inform features Contribute directly to codebase, from architecture to deployment Translate Figma designs into functional ecommerce features Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability Maintain and troubleshoot the codebase Support QA testing across browsers and devices What Were Looking For Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and the Shopify ecosystem Proficiency with Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript ES6+ Experience with frameworks like Node.js, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, Vue Version control expertise with Git, API integration skills Ability to create responsive, user-friendly layouts Knowledge of web performance optimization Experience estimating project scope and validating specs Attention to detail, from design to code comments Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and automation tools Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills Data-driven approach to product planning Excellent communication skills Bonus Points Experience with backend technologies within Shopify Interest in mobile app development Experience with no-code tools like Zapier, Airtable, Retool Passion for visual and interaction design Love for furniture, productivity, or the built environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Branch Furniture
