Senior Salesforce Developer

As a Barclays Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be accountable for working on the overall design, development, delivery, and maintenance of Salesforce.com applications. You will work closely with our local team and global counterparts to deliver various software solutions built on salesforce in an agile development environment. Moreover, you will create and ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Lastly, you will handle the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions for CRM.

What will you be doing?
• Being responsible for developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other technologies to build customized solutions
• Delivering Salesforce solutions for CRM in an agile development environment
• Developing various components and configurations within salesforce
• Working with cross-functional IT teams to build strategic architecture and design
• Analysing business requirements and providing technical solutions
• Integrating methodologies and DevOps process into the development practices
• Ensuring service level availability of the Force.com platform and integration applications and provide on-call support for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve application issues
• Implementing and maintaining Salesforce customizations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, flows and validation rules
What we’re looking for:
• Significant years of overall experience with five years of experience in Salesforce Development
• Excellent expertise in developing Apex classes, components, triggers, controllers, batch processes Lightning Web Components, Aura Components
• Exceptional development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AMP script and Server Side JavaScript for customization and automation
• Experience in integrating Salesforce with other systems using SOAP API, REST API
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related technical field
• Enterprise experience developing large scale financial applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and business users, own technology issues and deliver solutions in a timely manner
