As a Security Officer - Logistics Flex Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, engaging with visitors and staff, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report any security-related issues or incidents encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel or management.
• Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the logistics environment.
• Document observations and incidents in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining clear and concise records as required by Allied Universal.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure and orderly environment within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
