Community Services for Children, a large non-profit organization located in the heart of the Lehigh Valley, is looking for a self-motivated School Bus Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe transportation services for all enrolled Head Start/Early Head Start children and/or parents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transport infants, children, and families in agency owned school buses or vehicles to scheduled classroom sites and planned activities
• Provide assistance to safely help families and children transition to and from family residents, vehicles, and program sites
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned school bus
• Travel established routes and utilize designated school bus stops
• Ensure legal requirements are met for the safe seating and transportation of infants, children and families
• Responsible for obeying Department of Transportation regulations and all traffic laws

Job Requirements:

• Valid PA Commercial Driver License (CDL) B license with S-Endorsement -This information must be listed on your resume.
• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. in order to assist children as needed and move equipment and materials
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and assist children in ascending and descending stairs on the bus and in buildings/houses
• Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Newly hired Community Services for Children staff members will receive a $500 net monetary incentive upon completion of probation.
