Position Title: Sales Associate – Upscale Women’s Retail

Position Summary
We are an upscale women’s retail clothing store seeking a Sales Associate who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. This role focuses on providing fast, friendly, and personalized service by actively engaging customers, assessing their needs, and offering knowledgeable product recommendations. Sales Associates are expected to maintain strong product and department knowledge while supporting adjacent departments as needed. Team members work collaboratively to ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, fully stocked, and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly, and attentive customer service
• Greet customers warmly with a smile and eye contact
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and genuine interest in helping customers
• Engage multiple customers simultaneously when needed
• Escort customers to merchandise across all departments
• Assist with special orders and follow up with customers by phone when appropriate
• Maintain merchandise presentation and in-stock conditions
• Support department supervisors and collaborate with team members across departments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Regularly lift, carry, or handle merchandise weighing 8–25 pounds
• Perform bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling motions
• Move throughout the store and maneuver merchandise as needed
• Ability to hear and respond to customer service calls and store announcements

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail sales or related trade experience
• 2+ years of customer service experience
