Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Provide menus and silverware and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy both in personb and on the phone.
• Assist in managing the dining room atmosphere, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Utilize POS systems (Figure POS) for reservations, table layouts, and order processing as needed.

Skills

• Previous host/host experience is preferred, along with food service knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and guest services is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using POS systems is a plus.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel environments can enhance guest relations capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
