Calling all MedSurg nurses! We have openings all across the Rochester & Albany areas in varying hospital settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in line with facility policies.
• Interpret telemetry and float to multiple units as required.
• Direct and manage patient care, ensuring a safe environment.
• Maintain clinical and professional competency for the population served.
• Additional Responsibilities: Pulmonary care, chronic ventilator unit, acute BIPAP, high flow oxygen. Must float to like units. If staff float to ICU or ED it is to care for Med/Surg level patients or be helping hands. Will not practice outside of scope.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active New York RN license
• Experience: 2+ years of acute care experience
• Certifications: AHA BLS and NIHSS
• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Vaccinations: Proof of COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (or declinations) and Hep B series or positive antibody documentation
