Summary: To be responsible for the daily maintenance of the Recreation areas at Big Cedar Lodge, including the Mini Golf area, the Fitness Center, Swimming Pools, Nature Trail and Jogging Trail. Lead guest activities and perform related guest services functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of the areas around the Swimming Pools, Fitness Center, Recreation Area, Mini Golf, Playground, Sand Volleyball, Shuffleboard ,Nature Trail and Jogging Trail. 2. Greet guests who enter recreational areas. 3. Answer general questions and give information about all recreationalopportunities at Big Cedar Lodge, as well as assist guests with any problems or concerns they may have. 4. Stock and distribute towels at the Fitness Center and swimming Pools. 5. Be pro-active to ensure a safe environment, for example; offer plastic containers to guests who bring glass containers into the pool area and monitor horseplay and other unsafe activity around the pool or other recreation areas. 7. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Skills and Abilities: The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
