Front Desk Receptionist (Fluent in Italian)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite – 5 Days/Week
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist fluent in Italian to serve as the first point of contact for a reputable organization in NYC. The ideal candidate will be highly professional, polished, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This person will manage front desk and client-facing interactions while assisting with ad hoc projects and office needs as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors and phone inquiries, providing a professional and welcoming experience in both English and Italian.
Manage conference room scheduling, mail, and office supplies.
Assist with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects across teams as needed.
Support internal communications and collaborate across departments to ensure smooth office operations.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications & Experience:
2+ years of experience in a front desk, administrative, or receptionist role within professional services (finance, legal, consulting, or similar high-level environment).
Fluency in Italian and English, with strong communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
Comfortable working onsite 5 days/week in the Financial District.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive mindset, willing to step outside traditional receptionist duties to assist with projects or special initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office management systems a plus.
