Join to apply for the Public Relations & Community Associate role at Jerry We are looking for a Public Relations & Community Associate to join our Organic Growth team and help shape how the world sees Jerry. This is a chance to get in on the ground floor and help us build our media and community engagement strategies from the ground up. In this role, your responsibilities will constantly evolve, but you’ll take on a wide range of projects, from strategic media outreach to content strategy and community management. This is an opportunity to learn and grow at the intersection of AI, SEO, and media. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is highly comfortable with change and ambiguity. The landscape we operate in is evolving at a fast pace, and because of that, no two days will be the same. You’ll join a team that’s learning and building in real-time. If you're a self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments, lives and breathes the news cycle, and wants hands-on experience in startup growth, we’d love to meet you. This is a fully remote full-time role with options to work onsite (we have offices in Palo Alto, Toronto, and New York). What You'll Do Engage with our Audience: help execute strategies on our community channels (like Reddit, Trustpilot, etc.), monitor app reviews and feedback to respond to comments, identify trends, and flag key insights for our product and engineering teams. Drive Organic Growth: Help us grow our visibility by contributing to our SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) strategies, including experimenting with new AI-assisted workflows. Handle Public Relations: Work on day-to-day PR operations across consumer, tech, business, and trade outlets. Monitor news cycles, update media lists, track coverage, and build strong relationships with key journalists. Ideal Profile You have hands-on experience with Reddit, Trustpilot, and other community and review platforms. You have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in journalism, communications, PR, or a related field. Resourceful & Proactive: You're fast, curious, and resourceful. You don't just spot problems, you bring solutions and are always looking for ways to improve. Agile: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple priorities while pivoting quickly as the media and tech landscapes evolve. Determined: You’re persistent and resilient. When you face setbacks, you adapt your approach and keep moving forward without losing momentum. Bonus: You have experience in a newsroom, PR agency, or startup environment. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation may include opportunities for equity grants.
