Job Description
Our client, an affordable housing organization, is looking for a Property Manager to assist their office on the West Side. This role is ideal for an experience professional with excellent customer service, time management, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collect rent and property fees from tenants and owners
- Report property's financial status, occupancy, and expiring leases
- Arrange contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security, and other ongoing services
- Inspect properties and arrange for repairs and new materials as required
- Investigate and resolve property complaints
- Other duties as assigned
About You:
- 5+ years of property management in managing affordable housing
- Must have or be able to obtain HUD Certification, IREM Accredited Residential Manager designation, and an AMP Leasing Certificate
- Section 8 housing required
- Looking for candidates who have managed over 80 properties
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management database systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
