Job Description

Our client, an affordable housing organization, is looking for a Property Manager to assist their office on the West Side. This role is ideal for an experience professional with excellent customer service, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collect rent and property fees from tenants and owners
• Report property's financial status, occupancy, and expiring leases
• Arrange contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security, and other ongoing services
• Inspect properties and arrange for repairs and new materials as required
• Investigate and resolve property complaints
• Other duties as assigned

About You:

• 5+ years of property management in managing affordable housing
• Must have or be able to obtain HUD Certification, IREM Accredited Residential Manager designation, and an AMP Leasing Certificate
• Section 8 housing required
• Looking for candidates who have managed over 80 properties
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management database systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
