About the Role:

ASMG is seeking a creative and strategic Program Director & On Air Talent for KZST 100.1 FM, Sonoma County’s legacy adult contemporary station. Responsibilities:

• Lead all programming efforts for KZST, ensuring alignment with station brand, market goals, and listener preferences.
• Serve as on-air talent demonstrating a strong, engaging presence and commitment to community involvement.
• Oversee music scheduling, station imaging, on-air talent coaching, and promotional planning.
• Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, promotions, and digital teams to drive ratings and revenue.
• Monitor and analyze ratings, trends, and audience feedback to optimize programming decisions.
• Maintain compliance with FCC rules and regulations, including public file and EAS responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in radio programming, preferably in the adult contemporary or similar formats.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Expertise in music scheduling software (Selector Mr. Master), automation systems (e.g., Wide Orbit), and audio editing.
• Solid understanding of audience research, ratings, and competitive analysis.
• A passion for local radio and a deep connection to community values.
• On-air experience is a must.

Pay range and compensation package:

Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00; DOE

Benefits: Medical/Dental, Vacation, 401k
