  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing steps within NetSuite, notifying Engineering or Planning of necessary updates.
II. Process Documentation & Control (VKS)
  • Instruction Creation & Updating: Create, revise, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for all assembly, testing, and related production processes using the VKS (Visual Knowledge Share) platform.
  • Version Control: Maintain strict version control for all documentation in VKS, ensuring that only the most current, approved instructions are available to the manufacturing floor.
  • Collaboration & Accuracy: Work closely with Production personnel, Engineers, and the Quality department (QA) to gather feedback, validate process changes, and translate complex technical steps into clear, visual, and easy-to-follow digital instructions.
  • System Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for the VKS system, managing user access, training employees on its use, and leveraging its features (e.g., smart forms, checklists) to improve compliance and data capture.
III. Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Auditing: Perform regular internal audits of active work orders and shop floor documentation to ensure adherence to company procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Training Support: Assist the Production Manager in developing and delivering training sessions related to new work instructions and updated NetSuite procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify documentation gaps or inefficiencies in the work order process and propose solutions to the Production Manager to streamline workflows.
